Plastik Plus is a multi-faceted manufacturing company with varied skills and abilities. We have many years of experience with machining, tool and mold making, plastic injection and plastic fabricating. We can make one of something or many thousands, depending on the customer’s requirements. Located in Traverse City, MI, we operate in a 10,500 sq. foot facility. The molding and assembly areas are climate controlled. Our molding equipment includes 30 ton vertical presses for insert molding as well as horizontal presses up to 310 Tons. Our tool room has machinery and staff to do production machining or mold making. We have designed and built automation equipment, two shot and two material molded components, assembled electronic components, including solid state lighting. The management group is committed to a strict quality policy registering to ISO 9001:2015.

Product Design

With our experience in manufacturing design, we can eliminate inflated costs through early involvement in the design process.

Prototype Parts and Tooling

We try to eliminate expensive engineering changes by prototyping as much as possible. We can even provide 3D printed or "rapid prototypes" from most CAD files.

Production Molds

With our well equipped tool room, we can produce multi-cavity production tools competing favorably with landed costs from Asian countries. In some cases we are not only faster, but provide more value as well.

Production Machining

Volumes to the low thousands are no problem with CNC machine tools. We are able to quickly turn around close tolerance parts in volume. We work with industries such as power transmission, metal work holding, tooling, energy, point of purchase, and media production.


We can provide assembly of plastic, machined, and electronic components for products such as lighting, and electromechanical devices, complete with testing and ETL listed serialization.

Injection Molding

We have two vertical 30 ton presses for insert molding, as well as five horizontal presses ranging from 50 to 310 tons of clamping force.
